This show is comprised of two textile-based installations: a display of Albertan wildlife created from sawdust-filled utility blankets and a horde of mice metamorphosing from grey to fluorescent green.The work explores representations of animals as specimens in museological collections, as subjects of scientific experimentation and as beloved children’s toys.
