The show consists exclusively of sculpture created by three students from the University of Lethbridge who are in the final stages of their undergraduate education. Peter Algra is a fourth year bachelor of arts student whose major is philosophy. Doug Scholes is a third year bachelor of fine arts student whose concentration is in sculpture. Jay-Cee Thibedeau is a fourth year bachelor of fine arts student whose concentration is sculpture and painting.
The sculpture is diverse in both size and media. From small wall hung objects to large freestanding structures, the artists have made use of materials ranging from steel and wood to fabric and neon tubes. The artists are interested in what it is to play the art game today, as well as challenging the boundaries of sculpture.
